Custom AI Agents · Services-as-Software · You Own It

Custom AI agents your businessactually owns.

We build production AI agents for claims, underwriting, commerce, dispatch, and customer ops. Sometimes the agent needs new software to live inside. Sometimes it bolts onto your existing Salesforce or HubSpot. Either way, the AI and the code are yours forever.

No vendor lock-in. No monthly seat tax. No surprises in 2027.

01The math nobody shows you

Why building beats renting: the math nobody shows you.

The default assumption is that SaaS is faster and cheaper. That's true for the first year. Then the math flips, and almost nobody runs it past Year 2.

Year 1
SaaS wins

A Salesforce setup gets you live in 8 weeks. A custom build takes 14 to 16 weeks. SaaS is cheaper this year because you haven't paid the build cost yet.

Year 2
Gap closes

Your Salesforce bill grew because you hired 20 more users. You spent 6 weeks customizing the platform anyway because the out-of-the-box flow didn't fit. Your custom build is paid off and is costing ~$1k/month in hosting.

Year 3
Custom wins clearly

Your SaaS bill is 40% higher than Year 1 (price hikes + more users + add-ons). The platform's data model still doesn't fit your business, so your team is spending real hours every week working around it. Your custom build needs minor maintenance.

Year 5
Not close

You've paid 5 years of seat fees for software that doesn't quite fit. Your custom build paid off in Year 2 and has been free real estate ever since.

The AI catch nobody talks about

Your data trains their AI.

When SaaS has AI in it, every quarter your data makes their product better, and you don't get any of that learning back. If you switch vendors, the AI's knowledge of your business stays with them.

With custom AI, you own the model. Every quarter your data makes your product better.

03Proof we ship

Shipped, not slideware.

Six builds in production. Three are our own productized SaaS; three are client work. Every link below goes to a real case study, not a deck.

04Salesforce or Frappe?

Salesforce or Frappe? We do both. Here's how we pick.

Salesforce is the right call when

  • You need the AppExchange ecosystem (7,000+ pre-built apps + integrations + partner network).
  • Your team already knows Salesforce. Continuity matters more than the savings.
  • Your industry defaults to Salesforce for compliance + partner data exchange.
  • You have under 50 users. Per-seat pricing isn't yet painful.

Frappe is the right call when

  • Your workflows are highly custom and Salesforce's data model fights you.
  • You're scaling past 100 users and per-seat pricing bites: $300/seat × 200 users × 12 = $720k/year.
  • You need to deploy on your own infra (regulatory, sovereignty, on-prem).
  • You want AI agents trained on your data + stored with you, not Salesforce.
The myth most platform sellers don't mention

“Salesforce is faster” is mostly a myth.

Every Salesforce project we've ever shipped has 6 to 12 weeks of configuration: custom fields, Apex, Flows, integrations. Frappe takes the same time because the work in either case is modeling your business, not setting up someone else's platform.

The real difference is what you have at the end: a configured version of someone else's software (Salesforce, monthly forever) versus your own software you fully own (Frappe).

05Shopify or Vendure?

Shopify or Vendure? Most brands should stay on Shopify. Here's when to move.

Shopify Plus is the right call when

  • Your products are a flat catalog (same items, same rules, same checkout).
  • You're under $5M revenue. Transaction fees aren't yet meaningful.
  • Your team is non-technical and the app marketplace does most of the work.
  • You need Shopify-only features like Shop Pay or the Shopify discovery surface.

Vendure is the right call when

  • Your checkout branches on rules (Rx, state, eligibility, subscription cadence, formulation).
  • You're at $10M+. Shopify's 2.9% transaction fees are $290k/year on $10M.
  • Your team is spending more time fighting the theme system than building features.
  • You want AI personalization on YOUR data, not Shopify's algorithm working in their cloud.
Real example: Dear Brightly migration

2,400 lines of liquid + 3 paid apps replaced by one 180-line Vendure plugin.

Dear Brightly is a US Rx skincare brand. Their state-by-state prescription checkout on Shopify Plus was a Cloudflare Worker + theme spaghetti + three paid apps. We rebuilt it as a single Vendure plugin in 11 days.

07How we engage

Four steps. No surprises.

Typical project size: $80k–$400k. Architecture sprint $15k–$30k. If you're under $60k, we'll tell you honestly on the discovery call.

01

Discovery

Free · 30 min

A 30-min call. You walk us through your stack. We tell you honestly whether what you need is a custom build, an extension of what you already have, or something you should just live with for another year. No pitch.

02

Architecture Sprint

1–2 weeks · $15k–$30k

If we're a fit, we run a paid sprint to lock the data model, integrations, and AI patterns. You get a written architecture doc and a fixed implementation estimate. If you walk away, the doc is yours.

03

Build

6–16 weeks

2-week sprints with weekly demos. Working software on Day 14. Blue-green deploys; you can always roll back. Production-grade from the first sprint, not the last.

04

Handoff or Run

Your choice

We can hand off to your in-house team with full documentation, or run it as managed services. No lock-in either way. You own the code; we provide optional support.

08FAQ

Common questions, honest answers.

Most Salesforce agencies optimize the platform. We optimize the outcome. We're happy to ship Salesforce when it's the right answer; we've shipped 300+ projects. We're also happy to tell you when it isn't. Logan and FullServicePro are both NOT on Salesforce, by choice.
Yes. Every production AI agent we ship has a reject path and an audit log. If an underwriter or auditor asks "why did the model pick X?", we can show them the input, the model's reasoning, the confidence score, and the action taken. We don't ship black-box AI to regulated industries.
No. They're our preferred stacks when they fit. We've also shipped on Salesforce, Next.js + Postgres, Apex, and custom Python. We pick the stack for the problem, not the other way around. The architecture sprint decides.
Contractually: at handoff, you get the full source code, deployment scripts, infrastructure docs, AI models (where applicable), and trained data. We sign over IP. If you ever want to take it in-house or move to another vendor, everything you need is yours.
Range: $80k to $400k for the initial build. Architecture sprints are $15k to $30k. We don't take projects under $60k. At that size, you're better served by a freelancer.
